WHO WE ARE:

Kidz Klozet is a free store providing clothing for those who need it the most.  We are located at Elim Church in Northeast Minneapolis. 

Two friends, Kelly Carlson and Cyndi Klum, became challenged to make a difference in peoples lives.  Because of the great need of children’s clothing they decided to start a children’s clothing shelf.  The generosity of others quickly became apparent.  A location was provided, funding was donated and many friends and family gave gently used clothing.  Shoes, sweaters and coats….it kept coming in.  The best part of the job is getting the clothing to the people who need it the most.  The life changing stories are endless.

Kidz Klozet is under Starfish Foundation, an independent, nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) agency.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to make a difference one by one in our local community by providing a respectful environment for free shopping to those in need of children’s clothing regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
